ABOUT ABOUT

Political correctness and charges of being Islamophobic, bigoted has shut down the debate about Islamic ideology. Americans and clergy are reluctant to engage on the topic for this fear and the perception it is "un-Christian" to question or criticize another religion.

Islam, sharia law, jihad, Quran, Muhammad....all words that cross the airways and our lives daily now.

  • What are Christian responses on Islamic ideology?
  • Is violence a part of Islam?
  • Was Muhammad violent?
  • Is Islam a religion of peace?
  • Is it "un-Christian" for ministers to speak or criticize Islamic ideology?

The San Antonio Chapter of ACT! for America is proud to sponsor this panel discussion of Christian ministers who have spoken forcefully and factually from the pulpit about Islamic ideology.

Bring your church leadership to hear testimony of pastors who have spoken honestly to their congregations about Islam and how to respond to Muslims in their community.

Joining them will be Daniel Akbari, author of the New Jihadist and Islam, a former Muslim and trained Sharia lawyer who practiced sharia law in over 500 court cases in Iran.

Our other panel members will be:

Dr. Stephen Branson, Senior Pastor, Village Parkway Baptist Church, San Antonio

Dr. David Trawick, Senior Pastor, Northwest Hills United Methodist Church, San Antonio

Pastor Kurt Hudspeth, Four Winds Bible Church, San Antonio

Our moderator for the night will be  Reverend Joe Carey of RadicalTruth.net

Reverend Carey is a Christian apologist who has specialized training in Islam and has witnessed to Muslims for many years.

You will have a chance to ask your questions on how church leaders can arm their congregation with factual and useful information on Islamic ideology. Learn how San Antonio Christians are reaching out to Muslims for spiritual guidance.

Western press tells us constantly Islam is a religion of peace yet we see in the same press reports of Muslims killing Muslims, Christians and Jews.

  • How do Christians make sense of the Quran and how does it help me understand Islam?
  • How do I talk to Muslim friends and neighbors about their religion and about my religion?
  • Do Jews and Christians have anything to fear from Islam?  Today? Tomorrow? 20 years?

Sharia law has been applied in 32 states in the United States involving over 140 cases by US judges. Should this be allowed to occur and what should Christian's response be?

Please encourage your church youth groups, college students or other interested persons for this frank panel discussion of Christian leaders speaking out about Islamic ideology.
